Anna Quon is a novelist and poet who lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She has published two novels with Invisible Publishing, Migration Songs (2009) and Low (2013), and has also self-published a number of poetry collections. How long have you been writing? What drew you to writing in general, and fiction and poetry in particular?

Short Creative Non-Fiction Prize
Matt Robinson is the author of five full-length poetry collections and four chapbooks. His latest collection, a chapbook entitled AGAINST, will be released by Gaspereau Press in the fall of 2018. In the following post, he talks about his first publication, life in Halifax, and his advice to aspiring writers.
Carol Bruneau is an active member of the WFNS and the author of seven books. Her debut novel, Purple for the Sky (Cormorant Books), won the 2001 Thomas Raddall Atlantic Fiction Award and the Dartmouth Book Award. Her most recent book, A Bird on Every Tree (Vagrant Press), was a finalist for the 2018 Thomas Raddall Atlantic Fiction Award.
