Through a range of programs and services, the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia (WFNS) fosters creative writing and the profession of writing in Nova Scotia; provides advice and assistance to writers at all stages of their careers; encourages greater public recognition of Nova Scotia writers and their achievements; and enhances the literary arts in our regional and national culture.Membership is $60 annually ($25 for students.)
WFNS has pursued this mission for more than 40 years through the shared commitment and passion of its Board of Directors, its staff, and its members. Truly, WFNS could not exist without its members: not only do membership dues and donations contribute to essential funding, but volunteerism and the mandate of the organization are member-driven. Please renew your membership for 2018 and consider adding a charitable donation so that WFNS can continue to build community among writers in Nova Scotia and to invest in the contributions of Nova Scotia writers regionally, nationally, and internationally.
Renewed WFNS membership will be in effect from January 1 to December 31, 2018. Please complete the 2018 Membership Renewal Form, provided below in Word .doc and PDF formats for your convenience. Click on either document link to open the form.
As outlined in the Membership Renewal Form, you can renew your membership in two ways:

Please note that the 'duration' on this screen can be misleading. All memberships expire on December 31st of each calendar year.
